TECHNOLOGY-DRIVEN TRAINING ADVANTAGE
Modern Players Need Modern Tools
We integrate professional-grade technology and performance systems so development is visible, measurable, and individualized — not assumed.
Professional Skating Treadmill — AK Hockey Performance System
Our players will train on a state-of-the-art AK Hockey skating treadmill located at Great Lakes Hockey Performance, operated by Head Coach Joe Castle. This is the same unit used by elite NCAA and NHL players to refine stride mechanics and skating power.
The treadmill allows us to isolate and improve:

-
stride length and frequency
-
ankle flexion and knee drive
-
hip engagement and power transfer
-
glide mechanics
-
edge efficiency
-
upper-body stability and posture
-
recovery timing and efficiency
Bisons players will receive structured treadmill sessions as part of their development plan, with priority access to additional training throughout the year.
No other youth program in Western New York offers this kind of structured access — creating a skating advantage that is both measurable and developmentally significant.
